During 2008 Steen Joffe has been working as
Team Leader of the UK DFID Research Into Use (RIU)
Country Strategy and Programme Development Team for Sierra Leone. A new Partnership for Agricultural Innovation
and Development has been established to take forward the country programme. Work has continued in Rwanda to establish
a new Rwandan National Agricultural Innovation Network, and Source-Km also contributed to the Zambia Assessment and
Country Strategy.

Source-KM
launches a range of simple but powerful web-based software products
aimed at the international development community. OnKnowledge web tools,
developed in association with
Objective Computing,
provide practical solutions to generic challenges in communications and
markets development.

Source-KM has agreed a collaborative partnership with Nkoola Institutional
Development Associates (NIDA) Uganda, to promote
private sector oriented information 'market-making'
initiatives in Uganda and elsewhere in Africa.

The Marketplace for Agricultural Information and
Services (MPAIS) is launched in Uganda providing an innovative new private sector mechanism to improve access and uptake of technical
